This week was a VERY busy week on the site. On Monday after school we went to see the insulation that had been laid down in the shape of our house.

By Tuesday the builders had finished the insulation and put some special yellow and red sheeting out over it before laying out lots of metal grids.

The weather on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was very stormy so the builders weren’t working on site very much.

On Sunday morning it was a nice sunny day and we went over to see what had happened. The builders had put down the pipes for the underfloor heating. They were very wiggly! We also did a litter pick around the site because the storms had made a bit of a mess!

Holly and me had fun in our wellies! I was surprised at how big the foundations were.

We look very small compared to the house!

On Monday the concrete will arrive to finish the foundations.
